3 Dan Box

3 Dan Box By CAPD in Asa-minami-ku, Hiroshima-shi, Hiroshima prefecture, Japan .3 And Box, designed by Japanese studios CAPD architecture, this is a three stacked boxes and is designed to accommodate the hair saloon and lodging for a hairdresser in Japan. Formal strategies to effectively interact with the lighting-natural sun, as a result of creating a project environment. To allow for a parking space on this site, we suggest the structure, the combination of three floors consisting of a hair salon on the first floor and residential area on the second and third floor structure. The outside of each story is exactly the same size and shape, and each story is unevenly stacked to provide a roof for shelter against rain and sunlight from the west side, and sometimes helps highlight air and light. In addition, the exterior appears as though it has been cut with scissors that are unconsciously showed a hair salon. We try to facilitate co-existence of the shop and residence with a separate “face” to the south and north. Bright sunshine reflecting from the west on the outside wall is tilted and provide light, but not heat the building. At night, winds from the mountains west past the building toward the opening in the east. Direct sunlight, which is generally taboo in the hair salon, was closed by the structure of the second floor. Also, a thick outer wall of heat and reduce noise. In protect the environment with little privacy and exposure to the four directions of open space, the uneven placement of stories are produced as a result of efforts to achieve privacy and a comfortable interior environment for one day. In addition, our structure is intended to provide a shape suitable for a hair salon, and also to serve as a milestone for the region.
